Freddy Krueger In Pop Culture Part 1
With other sites focusing on the films of Freddy Krueger due to the impending release of the remake, I decided to focus more on the pop culture impact of the dreaded slasher icon.

Freddy Krueger 1-900 Hotline Commercial
I love this cool old commercial for the Freddy Krueger hotline. If you called the number, Freddy would tell you stories over the phone. But at $2.00 for the first minute and $.45 for every minute after, by the time he was done telling the story, you could have bought every piece of Freddy merchandise. In his heyday, Freddy crossed over into many different aspects of pop culture.

Fruit Brute Commercial
Check out this cool old commercial for Fruit Brute Cereal. This was out in the late 70's to early 80's and was part of the monster cereal line. I never understood why they kept Boo Berry and got rid of Fruit Brute. Fruit Brute was so much better.
